ParticipantMale and female Sandhill cranes were originally bred by the US Geological Service and might be related. They were used in our zoo shows but not since the covid shutdown. They were previously color target trained and can also be hand-fed for shifting, weighing or crating and are fully flighted. Will make great calm display birds for a facility with crane experience.
Vultures were 2021 hatch year hand-raised imprints, but it took so long for transfer approval that from living together in a mews without contact they became leery. They will however gently eat from the hand.
