  • Fellow bird people, a friend of mine (Canada-based falconer) needs your help. I'm posting for her since she's not (yet) a member.

She's looking for a 'retirement' home for a 20-year old male Gyr/Saker hybrid falcon, name of Pfeiffer. He's glove-trained, and may make a decent 'ambassador' bird with a bit of work. However, as you might imagine for a 'senior citizen' bird, he prefers to be left to himself for the most part.

Ideally, we'd like to find him a 'sanctuary' spot. We were going to send him to North Island Sanctuary, but they ended up not having adequate space.

If you can help, or know a sanctuary or private party who can help, please get in touch with me on kyrrin (at) bluefeathertech dot com.

    Thanks much!
