Financial Hardship Assistance
Membership Should Stay Within Reach
IAATE is stronger when avian professionals, educators, and enthusiasts can stay engaged, whatever their financial circumstances. If paying full membership dues would be a hardship for you right now, we may be able to offer a reduced rate.
The process is short and built on trust. There is no financial documentation to gather or submit.
How it Works
Complete the short application below. Tell us your name, email, and the membership category you hold or would like to join.
Request a reduced rate. Choose a 25% reduction, a 50% reduction, or suggest another amount that would work for you.
Share a brief note. One or two sentences about why a reduced rate would help at this time is all we need.
We review your request. The Executive Committee reviews every application.
What to know
No documentation required. We ask you to confirm that paying the full rate would create a financial hardship. We don’t ask for proof.
Reviewed by the Executive Committee. Applications are handled by IAATE leadership.
Valid for one year. An approved reduced rate applies to one membership year.
You’re welcome to reapply. If you still need assistance the following year, you can submit a new application.
Who Can Apply
Anyone can apply.
Financial Hardship Assistance is available for any IAATE membership category: Professional, Supporting, Early Career, Lifetime, and Facility.
